Draft. These terms have not been approved yet.

These terms are between you and IOAKIM LABS LTD (company number 17275431, 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ), “we”. They cover the Salary Partner app and this website. By installing or using the app you agree to them.

Your licence to use the app

We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to install and use the app on devices you own, for your own use. The app is also covered by Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement; where these terms and Apple’s agreement differ, Apple’s agreement applies to your relationship with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or for supporting it; we are.

What you may not do

Copy, sell, rent, or redistribute the app or its content; reverse engineer it except where the law allows; use it to break the law or to harm others; or remove any copyright or attribution notice.

Estimates, not advice

Salary Partner works out take-home pay from the official tax rates for the year it names, and the assumptions it shows (for example a standard tax code or a standard W-4). Your real pay can differ: your employer, your tax code and your circumstances decide it. US state tax is an estimate. The app is a guide, not financial, tax or legal advice; check anything important with your employer, HMRC, the IRS or a qualified adviser.

Subscriptions

The app is free to use. Salary Partner Pro is an optional subscription, monthly or yearly, bought through the App Store. A new subscriber may get a free trial; if you do not cancel before it ends, the subscription starts and renews automatically until you cancel it in your Apple ID settings. Apple takes the payment and handles receipts and refunds under its own terms; to ask for a refund, use Apple’s refund process. Everything that was free stays free.

No warranty

The app is provided as it is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranty that it will be error-free, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that was not a foreseeable result of our breaking these terms, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here affects your rights as a consumer under the law of the country you live in.

Ending these terms

You can stop at any time by deleting the app. We may end your licence if you break these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, without taking away any protection you have under the mandatory law of the country you live in.

Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows the current version. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
